Thermalbond

Carded thermally bonded nonwovens for technically demanding applications

Cha Technologies Group produces thermally bonded nonwovens in both our HDK Industries Inc. (US) facility and our Cosmotec (UK) facility. Production is based on processing staple fiber with inclusion of a low-melt or bi-component fiber. This blend of fiber forms a structure of interconnected bonding points when the web receives heat treatment. A multitude of fiber blends and heat settings can be applied to achieve desired effects. In addition, the use of powder bonding offers further variation to our product range.
